Take a walk on the new passerelle Müller !
The Müller passerelle (footbridge) has been recently restored and reopened
on June 12, this year.
It connects Ivry's center to Ivry's harbour, spanning the underlying railways and
linking together the rue Ledru Rollin with the rue Jules Vanzuppe, right in the artists-
workshops' area.
> To undertake this project, the Ivry Municipal Authority, decided to enlist
the aid of experts : the DVVD, an architectural and engineering consultant,
Baudin Châteauneuf for the metal framework and the CSTB.

details of this structure.

Nadine and Viswa opened their doors in Ivry...
on September 19 and 20...
which means it's all over now !
I went there yesterday afternoon to visit my friends and, of course, to take a look
at the Müller footbridge, but this is for the next post.

A yellow Beatle on Arte, yesteray night...

Arte broadcasted a 2008 Yishai Orian's
movie in which the author is facing the
painful selling of his 40 years old yellow
rusty Volkswagen Beatle...
When finally he has the better idea to have
it completely refurbished for cheap in
Jordan... well, that is the best part of the
movie.

Refurbishing a strategic spot in G@tto's Fief.
The Oberkampf-Ménilmontant-Belleville crossroads' renovation project
has been effectively launched by the Mairie de Paris (the City Hall)
end of June...
... and is due to be accomplished around January 2010.
