As in my life everything - in some way, is
related to music, I was listening to Albert
Mangelsdorff's trombone when my radio
announced that the Berlin wall was being
pulled down.
I phoned some friends in Berlin, but there
was no answer...
Out they ran, all of them... Gabi included !

After the fall, I spent my time asking people around me what were they doing when the new spread ahead...
Same thing on september eleven, but this is another story.
Remember it VERY VIVIDLY. Went to work early at the World Bank in DC and saw the newspaper front page. Had my coffee in awe and chills running through me wondering how it would affect Hungary...and that is when I should have returned to Hungary - when apartments could be bought for a week's US wage.
Hindsight! always 20-20 :) (could have, should have, would have)
