Hands full of sand...

... of sardinian sand.

One video and a few pictures, taken 5 days ago in the morning at the mouth of the river
Flumendosa, closed at this time of the year
for reasons related to farmed fish, particularly
grey mullets (muggine-i),
whose roe pouch is very appreciated as a delicacy under the
(italian) name of 'bottarga'.

Italian river Flumendosa, rises in the Gennargentu Mountains in southeastern Sardinia, Italy, and flows
127 km
(79 miles) west and southeast, entering the Tyrrhenian Sea near Muravera and Villaputzu.
The Ente Autonomo del Flumendosa, a dam and irrigation project, was established in 1946 to develop
the resources of the Flumendosa River basin.

Far away, the marina of Porto Corallo.
(Click to see some other beautiful places).
If you're curious enough and want to know about the river's basin geomorphology, well,

Back in Paris and the first new is...

... expulsion of Roma from France :
Sarkozy is currently falling in popularity.

"130 Roma have been flown back to Romania. It is expected that a further 850
people will be expelled from France. Many in France are still very sensitive
to the stigmatization of the Jewish population
during WW2 and subsequent
brutalization of ethnic groups".

"French priest Père Arthur Hervet, a Roma defender, has
returned his Medal of Merit, saying he was going to "pray" for
a "heart attack" to strike Nicolas Sarkozy and stop the "war"
against the Roma community, before regretting those words".
