"Bondage" (発禁本「美人乱舞」より責める !) a 1977, 83' Noboru Tanaka's film,
on arte tonight.

"In the intimacy of the artist - adept of bondage (shibari> 縛り) - and of his models.
Freely based on the life of painter-photographer Seiu Ito."

His models: his two wives and a
prostitute whose resemblance to
his first wife dragged him into one
Sade-style spiral.










If the story takes all points of view, the photographer's and model's behaviour and
feelings prevail in such an extent that the stressful practice of bondage appears as
naturally admitted.

Shibari on 'arte', and here we are, again !

A regular score of about 60 visits on Monday 1st, around midnight...

then, at 2am, on Tuesday, the big rush : over 70 visits - in 2 hours,
mostly French.

... and the Xavier Brillat's film will be aired again by Arte on March 10th
and 19th !

3rd Anniversary for ParisPointGriset...

... with 448 posts and 27595 visits since February 2007.

For some reason, in a couple of days, my counter has gone crazy with your visits and went,
from an average of 50-60 per day, up to almost 300.
The main target was an old post from December 2008, relating a movie broadcasted by Arte
about the Japanese art of Shibari. For the first time, visitors were mostly French, which is even
more surprising since the film is French and was aired on a French TV channel.
If I still don't understand the reasons of this sudden passion for the Shibari, I sure enjoy the results.

Prudish, prim and proper deep America, mixing up culture
and obscenity !

At first sight - reading the EC message, I thought they definitely got some
problem lately with all those tweets all around - then I've read the reason
why my account was deleted : nudity ! (see previous post).
As a matter of fact, they deleted G@ttoGiallo's account
which means its 2 blogs !
Effectively, due to Africa's extremely hot climate, G@tto's
African blog risks to feature some nudity as well...
yes, they got a problem at EC.

Feb. 14/2010 update :
PPG has never had as much
visits as since its post on Shibari
and since EntreCard kicked it out.
Curious enough, visitors mostly
came from France.

in many film festivals and recently broadcasted by arte TV channel.
