A yellow Beatle on Arte, yesteray night...
... I loved !
Arte broadcasted a 2008 Yishai Orian's
movie in which the author is facing the
painful selling of his 40 years old yellow
rusty Volkswagen Beatle...
When finally he has the better idea to have
it completely refurbished for cheap in
Jordan... well, that is the best part of the
movie.
Have a look at the trailer...

Le Mur Oberkampf in August(a)
Le M.U.R. features...
# 54 - "Ad Augusta Per Angusta" in August(a) the 22nd
by Honet.
... "To high places by narrow roads",
a very pleasant composition indeed...
... but a few days later, as usual,
with a little help of our friends...

Best of Sicily : Andrea Camilleri
About 10 million copies of his novels have been sold to date,
and are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and North
America.
In a 53:20 mn movie,
Andrea Camilleri, writer and
André Buytaers, film director
lead you on an imaginary trip
across both historical and
modern Sicily.
Just finished to read "Il Sonaglio", the last novel of Camilleri's
metamorphosis trilogy and I'm even more impressed than I was
by the talent of the writer and the humour and thoughtfulness
of the man.
The Camilleri language.
and a glimpse to Sicily's history-geography-society.

Tourist Eye !
That's it.
I was seeking a new specs' frame, because I've lost mine at my granny's, so I wandered
around Châtelet and the Latin quarter, from an optician to the next one, shooting all around
me - like a tourist...
... but I finally found what I was searching for !
